INDEPENDENT READING Students can do magazines and newspapers as well as books!
Class Information (Week of May 29th and June 4th):
We will complete our year with an informational reading unit that is integrated curriculum with our United States History department. We will be reading about the Reform Movement of the early 1800's and the Civil War.
Tuesday, May 29th- In class, finish 15.2 packet and discuss reform movement.
Wednesday, May 30th- In class, begin 15.3 informational reading packet and discuss.
Thursday, May 31st-In class, complete 15.3 information reading packet.
Friday, June 1st-In class, begin 15.4 informational reading packet.
Monday, June 4th- In class, complete 15.4 informational reading packet and read for independent reading log.
Tuesday, June 5th-In class, read independently for informational text reading log. Due at end of class tomorrow.
Wednesday, June 6th- In class, read independently for informational text reading log. Due at end of class.
Thursday/Friday, June 7th or 8th-In class, read "Star" book and reflect on our stars done on first day of class.
